With continued investment in both technology and people, the company is expanding its engineering capability and product range. We’re looking for an Electronics Technician to support product development and testing activities. You’ll be involved in design verification, product testing, and manufacturing test development, as well as fault finding and repair of returned or failed units.

We’re looking for an Electronics Technician to support product development and testing activities. You’ll be involved in design verification, product testing, and manufacturing test development, as well as fault finding and repair of returned or failed units.
About the Role
- Build and assemble prototypes, test rigs, harnesses, and jigs to support validation activities
- Carry out environmental, EMC, and ESD testing on products
- Perform functional testing of software and associated applications
- Accurately record and report test results to the design engineering team
- Process RMA returns, including fault diagnosis, categorisation, repair, and documentation
- Rework failed units from end-of-line (EOL) testing
- Support integration testing between hardware devices and backend systems
- Liaise with suppliers to define specifications and technical documentation for outsourced test equipment
- Qualified to HNC/HND/BTEC Level 4 (or higher) in a STEM-related discipline
- Hands-on experience with PCBs, soldering/rework, cable harness assembly, and fault finding
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to quickly learn new technologies
- Interest in IoT systems and device-to-cloud communication
- Competent with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
